Feels like Running\ ETAN Giant steps can seem so small When you’re not afraid to fall Go on, and on, and on and on There are highs but mostly lows When you’re stepping on your toes Go on, and on, and on and on Are you ready to get on this track? Cause I think that life has got your back It’s got your back And I know you always work so hard Let your brain beat with your heart It feels like running Run beauty, run This is not a race Run beauty, run I respect your pace Run beauty, run You know it’s your fate Run beauty, run You are doing great All your dreams are risky debts Everyday you break a sweat Go on, and on, and on and on Freedom comes but freedom goes, When you’re busy chasing ghosts Go on, and on, and on and on Are you ready to get on this track? Cause I think that life has got your back It’s got your back And I know you always work so hard Let your brain beat with your heart It feels like running Run beauty, run This is not a race Run beauty, run I respect your pace Run beauty, run Beauty it’s your fate Run beauty, run You are doing great

I'm Back 03:05
I’ve been watching closely Spending days learning your skill It got awfully lonely Moments passed while I stood still I’m back, found myself on some kitchen floor I’m back, if you see me outside don’t close the door I have a feeling I’ve been here before (up again down again) Now it just doesn’t scare me anymore (up again down again) I am an alien I see you wide Extraterrestrials can’t hide I’m not good with timing Usually, it slips through my hands Can’t let this get by me This must be carefully planned I’m back, you probably don’t remember me I’m back, wishing that I was memory free I have a feeling I’ve been here before (up again down again) Now it just doesn’t scare me anymore (up again down again) I am an alien I see you wide Extraterrestrials can’t hide

Duck Down 00:59
Duck Down Oh my god I’ve done it again. Let you play your tricks in my head Doesn’t matter how much I train Myths keep living on in my brain Oh, please just go away I am here to stay This always happens to me I spot what you think I don’t see You become a scared little boy You keep me away from your toys Your boring little games Isn’t it a shame? I won’t duck down Wish I saw you for what you are Every time your games leave a scar You’re so threatened when you get cruel Guess I know which trigger to pull Oh, time for you to see I’m not your enemy Oh, you’re more of the same You won’t forget my name I won’t duck down

Hang on to me\ ETAN Last night you called me your addiction Was that your prediction? We cannot lose each other We can’t be afraid In our 4 wall castle We observe a foreign battle We don’t think we need nobody Sure nobody needs us Hang on to me Bare in mind my love you can’t withdraw Hang on to me Bare in mind my love that we will fall Hang on, Hang on, Hang on to me. It’s a beneficial limbo Worlds collapse outside our window I’d rather lose myself inside you I don’t want to wake up To me, none of this is fake Reality is the mistake I’d rather be your painkiller Whenever you’re awake Hang on to me Bare in mind my love you can’t withdraw Hang on to me Bare in mind my love that we will fall Hang on, Hang on, Hang on to me. I guess salvation is enough Dreaming big is just too rough I can live on my reflection when I look into your eyes. That’s. Just. Fine.

Growing Pains (Anthem For Late Bloomers)\ ETAN Plant me in soil Reward me with the sun When I bloom, when I win We shall meet again in spring You see, in retrospect You can notice the effect If you’re patient, if you wait You shall see me elevate Water me with drops of wisdom Experienced and vain Water me with drops of wisdom Increase my growing pains I will burn. I’ll never learn Every drop aches Even more than the mistakes Do it once, make it hurt Make me bleed, make it burst You see, when you’re done I have only just begun Faith was easy out of sight Now all I do is fight Water me with drops of wisdom Experienced and vain Water me with drops of wisdom Increase my growing pains I will burn. I’ll never learn

about

Growing Pains (Anthems for Late Bloomers), is the debut EP by ETAN.

In Etan's words:

"This was written to remind myself I have my own pace- as a human, a woman, an artist, a social being. After I wrote it I realised all the songs in this EP are different versions of the same feeling. The feeling of social labels forced on you and weighing you down. Of having only few socially accepted journeys to determine if you can become who you want to be, in the right time-frame.

I feel these songs are an ode to our true selves, a little reminder for what is, for me- the thing that helped me come back to myself, even after getting lost so many times."

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Bon Iver,
James Blake, Susanne Sundfør, St Vincent, Kate Bush, Imogen Heap,
Bjork, Hot Chip, LCD Sound system, Goldfrapp, Robyn, The
Eurythmics, Georgia, and more, ETAN's unique voice and songwriting,
coupled with her production skills, reflect a rich blend of influences. Her
love for synthesizers, alongside her classical background, contributes to a bold and unfettered approach to harmonies and songwriting. ETAN's music was featured on platforms such as BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio, and Boogaloo Radio (Frankie Francis) and more.
She received critical acclaim from blogs such as Lefuturwave, The Static Dive, Couger Microbes, Fresh on the Net Faves, and others.
